Nirvana

Most of what is written here in are that of my own findings through numerous deaths and runs. This was first posted and edited on Calamitys forums a few times before being brought here. Left my edit notes from the other forum at the bottom.

I wont include squad formations, because honestly any squad can go. There are two bms that used to be in my faction that soloed it together no cleric, due to interval and constant spark state. For normal people all you need is a cleric, a tank, and a dd. 4 people squads are very popular, just finding someone to just open is hard.

First off I am gonna break the instance down by areas.

1st Area: Infernal Lair ~ 100% Inferno Sovereign
2nd Area: Noxious Den ~ 100% Noxious Sovereign
3rd Area: Vampires Domain ~ 100% Vampiric Sovereign
4th Area: Demonic Niche ~ 40% Demonic Dictator, 40% Demonic Tyrant, 20% Demonic Sovereign(2x drop boss)
5th Area: Ashura's Hollow ~ 40% Ashuras Dictator, 40% Ashuras Tyrant, 20% Ashuras Sovereign(2x drop boss)
6th Area: Heaven's Coliseum ~ 40% Goldwing Phoenix, 40% Arbiter of Flame, 20% Nether Queen(2x drop boss)
7th Area: (Opposite side of 6th Area) 100% Vanished Ancestor

1st Area: Infernal Lair

Boss: Inferno Sovereign
Special Boss Info: This boss does a Mana Drain. When you first attack the boss it does a ranged mp drain, and a circle of tombstones appear, kill all the tombstones then the boss. The room also spawns circles that explode and do 5k dmg per explode and they spawn in multiples. Some groups can catch the boss in the hallway which glitches the circles, but more often then not this just resets the boss and you gotta start over with the gargoyles. This boss does a load of exp, hypers can be used here, though at 100 who would really want too I dunno.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...ana1stboss.jpg

Area:Noxious Den

Boss: Noxious Sovereign
Special Boss Info: Does a small AoE poison to Melee that is laughable. The boss will say some red text and will buff himself, this is laughable too, though having a veno is nice I have ran without and nothing ever happens.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...anaboss2-2.jpg

Area:Vampires Domain

Boss: Vampiric Sovereign
Special Boss Info: This boss does a Severe AoE mana drain. After the first hit the boss will spawn 6 foxes, 3 on each side of her. They will continue to spawn if they are not all killed at the same time. Heavy AoE dmg works wonders with a good pull. Has a 15 minute timer, if boss isnt killed within then you get a "You will regret this..." And everyone dies instantly

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...rvanaboss3.jpg

Area: Demonic Niche
Spawns one of three available bosses with a 33% chance of getting a boss that does a double drop.

Boss: Demonic Dictator
Special Boss Info: This boss is normal except he spawns two adds, one white one black. You must kill which is a one shot for anyone with a weapon the black spawn. If you kill the white one a 5k AoE dmg will in compass the whole room. At the last 25% of hp the boss will break BB and start casting AoE dmg, just do chromatic healing.
This picture also depicts the white and black feathers:

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...rvanaboss4.jpg

Boss:Demonic Tyrant
Special Boss Info: This boss is like the Super hacking slash boss in FC, except for his Circle for the AoE dmg is much greater. His speech starts with, "Let the ground quake.." With that started its best to run back and forth in the room rather then scatter in a giant circle.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...nirvana3-2.jpg

Boss:Demonic Sovereign (33% chance, Has a 2x boss drop)
Special Boss Info: Normal boss, just tank and kill adds that spawn.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...ana3-3boss.jpg

Area:Ashura's Hollow

Boss: Ashura Dictator
Special Boss Info: This boss is easy, but he spawns 3 little snakes that you must ignore. If said baby snakes die they each do 5k AoE dmg to the whole room. The baby snakes cast a poison to the character it touches, a swift purify is needed.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...rvanaboss5.jpg

Boss: Ashuras Tyrant
Special Boss Info: The boss is uneventfull, but the ceiling will drop rocks randomly on the party as well as spawn red circles that explode but do little to no dmg.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...nirvana5-2.jpg

Boss: Ashuras Sovereign
Special Boss Info: Refered to as the Beserker boss, will randomly debuff a player and slash them doing alot of dmg, kills most people. When boss red text appears run around and try not to get hit. Triple spark will save you if your not lagging. His random debuff is a fast attack, his beserker attack is slowed so you have plenty of time to get out of the way unless your the tank since your right under him.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...anaboss4-3.jpg

Last Area: Heaven's Coliseum

Boss: Goldwing Phoenix
Special Boss Info: This boss will grow at 180k hp left into a giant chocobo looking chicken.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...oom1stboss.jpg
Boss 2nd Evolution: Giant Chicken
Special Boss Info: This boss will spawn small embers of fire on people, these little fires do 2.5k dmg every other second in 10ish meter circle. The tank will most likely have to move the boss around depending on where the fire spawns occur to keep his dd help out of danger. The fires will continue to burn for 3 minutes before extinguishing.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...stransform.jpg

Boss:Arbiter of Flame
Special Boss Info: Contrary to his name, he spawns no fire but is merely just in the fire room. He does though a massive AoE dmg that must be BBed or party will all die. The Bm/Barb are best for this running since they have a greater normal speed.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...astroom1-2.jpg

Boss: Nether Queen (Dubbed the Trixy boss by Calamity after one of its longest standing Marshals for its red fiery eyes and hands of fury, and has the 2x drop rate)
Special Boss Info: This Boss looks easy but really isnt. The mysterious old man will spawn randomly around the room when she says "Feel a taste of my anger" You will have 10 seconds[seems more like 6] to run to the old man or she will kill you with a 200k'ish attack. Tranq orbs work well for tanking thru it.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...Nirvana7-3.jpg

The other side of Heaven's Coliseum is the Vanished Ancestor
Special Boss Info: This boss most squads have problems with, there are 5 mob spawns that occur while you attack the boss, and 5 chest spawns that occur at the same time. now each chest prevents a certain mob spawn from attacking and one shoting the group. The "runner" as most groups call it must have holy path, you only get 20 seconds from spawn before it goes boom.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...nalastboss.jpg

To use a chest drop dig the chest harvest the item run to mob, left click mob, right click the item from inventory that you just dug to prevent the mob from attacking.

Refining

Refining equipment adds HP, attack, or defense depending on the piece refined. In every major city, The Elder has the ability to “Refine Equipment” for you. The only required items to refine a piece of equipment are Mirage Celestones. You will need 2 stones for weapons and 1 stone for armor. As your equipment levels up, it will gain a specific effect depending on the type of equipment. For example, if you have a Robe with level 1 refinement and gained a +13 to health then a level 2 refinement would yield 13*2 = +26 HP. For more information, refer to the Refining Bonuses chart below.
The higher the upgrade, the more difficult it becomes. Starting from level 1, your success is not guaranteed. If you fail an upgrade, your item returns to level 0 unless you use a Dragon Orb (Explained later).
Refining specific equipment has various effects:
Normal Weapons – Physical Attack Upgrade
Magic Instruments – Magic Attack Upgrade
Physical Attack Rings – Physical Defense Upgrade

Refining With Dragon Orbs

Dragon orbs are an item that can be bought through the cash shop or from other players. Using these alongside the mirage stones will ensure that your refining never fails.
Note: You must use the dragon orb for the current refine or higher or it will not work.
Ex. Using a 1* dragon orb when trying to refine to +2 will not have a 100% success rate, you will need to use a 2* dragon orb or above.
Ex. If you want to refine a piece of gear to +6 you would need a 1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, and a 6* orb to get there with a 100% success rate.
Currently the most cost efficient way to make higher grade orbs is to buy the orbs from other players or in the 1* 10 packs from the cash shop. To convert the 1* orbs into higher grade orbs, you need to take them to any Jewelcraftsman NPC, select the 'combine' option, and go to the last tab 'Orb'.

1* Orbs Needed for Higher Refines:
Orb Wanted 1* Orbs Needed Total Needed
1* - 1 - 1
2* - 4 - 5
3* - 10 - 15
4* - 25 - 40
5* - 60 - 100
6* - 130 - 230
7* - 215 - 445
8* - 405 - 850
9* - 750 - 1600
10* - 1370 - 2970
11* - 2525 - 5495
12* - 4645 - 10140

After combining the orbs to get to the refine you desire, bring the orbs and the amount of mirages needed to an Elder in any major city.
WARNING: Do NOT place your gear into the gear box and click refine like you normally would. This will NOT use your dragon orb and give you 100% success rate.
To use the dragon orbs you must start with the first refine (usually the 1* orb) and place it into the 'Special Materials' box along with placing your gear into the 'Gear' box. Then it is safe to press refine and your gear will be increased to +1. Repeat what you just did with each orb increasing your refine until you are the refine you wanted to obtain.
Make sure you do not double click the refine button and accidentally refine it once without a dragon orb and lose all your previous refines!

Refining Without Dragon Orbs

The basic chances of refining success are as follows:

Refine level Mirage Only Tienkang Stone Tisha Stone
+1 - 50% - 65% - 53.5%
+2 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+3 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+4 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+5 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+6 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+7 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+8 - 30% - 45% - 33.5%
+9 - 25% - 40% - 28.5%
+10 - 20% - 35% - 23.5%
+11 - 12% - 27% - 15.5%
+12 - 5% - 20% - 8.5%

If refining fails, the item loses all previous refining and reverts back to +0.
Tisha Stones prevent the item from dropping more than 1 refining level if refining fails.
Rumours

Duke Blacke sometimes gives players advice on refining. For example, one of his rumors states that refining when nobody else is around improves refining rates, while another suggests that logging out and restarting your computer also improves the refining rate.
Many of his rumors give advice on specific NPCs to use when attempting to refine to a particular level. Note, however, that the Officer NPCs that Duke Blacke refers to can only be used by players who belong to the faction that controls the territory.
While many players claim that Duke Blacke's rumors are true, initial testing suggests that they are simply rumors. For example, tests using large quantities of Mirage stones that compared refining in Archosaur versus refining in abandoned towns found no significant difference in the refining rates. Similarly, another test of The Harshlands Officer NPC involving 250 Mirage stones found no improvement on +1 refining rates.
Refine Rumored Officer NPC

+1 The Harshlands
+2 The Frozen Path
+3 Avalanche Canyon, Thousand Wood Ridge, Windswept Grasslands, Courage Path, Land of Buried Bones
+4 Haunted Path, Tradewind Village, The Great Lake, South Barrier Mountains
+5 City of Misfortune, Shining Tide Woods, Stairway to Heaven, The White Ridge
+6 Ancient Wall, Dragon Wilderness, Valley of the Hidden Orchid, Black Mountain
+7 Broken Plain, Silk Ridge, Peach Blossom Grove, Ridge of the Dreaming Cloud
+8 Ancient Peak, Wellspring Village, Deserted Sea
+9 Vibrant Cliffs, Fragrant Hills, Walled Stronghold
+10 Mount Lantern, Sundown Town, King's Feast
+11 Immolation Camp, Dribbling Spring, Swamp of the Wraiths
+12 Forest of Haze, Dragon's End, Plain of Farewells

When to refine

Although you could refine all of your gear all the time, it can be a waste of coin if you refine gear which you are not going to hold on to for very long, or which does not have a good resale value.
Unless you are very rich, you should never refine white named equipment. In your first 60 levels, you should only refine legendary (yellow named) equipment, and even then, only to +1 or +2. Usually you don't need dragon orbs to get +1. When you get your first Twilight Temple weapon at level 60, you can refine it to +1. Later on you can get your equipment to +2 or even higher, but only at level 70+
Refining Twilight Temple items can also be expensive - since you will either want to decompose those items to make later ones, or you need to acquire a second set.

The Basics

Refining equipment is a method of upgrading your equipment without having to replace it. In every major city, The Elder has the ability to 'Refine Equipment' for you. The only required items to refine a piece of equipment are Mirage Celestones. You will need two stones for weapons and one stone for armor. As your equipment is upgraded, it will gain a specific effect depending on the type of equipment.

The higher the upgrade, the more difficult it becomes to refine again. Starting from level 1, your success is not guaranteed. If you fail an upgrade, your item returns to level 0 unless you use a special item.

Refining specific equipment has various effects:

Normal Weapons - Physical Attack Upgrade
Magic Instruments - Magic Attack Upgrade
Physical Attack Rings - Physical Defense Upgrade
Magic Attack Rings - Magic Defense Upgrade
Physical Defense Ornaments - Physical Defense Upgrade
Magic Defense Ornaments - Magic Defense Upgrade
Evasion Improvement Ornaments - Evasion Upgrade
Robes - Maximum HP Increase
Armor - Maximum HP Increase

Refining Bonuses

The higher the refining level of the equipment, the better the bonus. The improvement is based on the specific effect amplified by the item's current refinement level.

Refining Items

Mirage Celestones: These are the only items truly needed for refinement, although their usage alone does not guarantee success.

Dragon Orbs: These items are used as auxiliary items for the refine, and must be dragged into the "Special Materials" box to be used. The level of the Dragon Orb corresponds to the highest level refine that it will guarantee 100% success for. For example, a +3 Dragon Orb will guarantee a successful refine up to +3. Note that Dragon Orbs are one-time use items, and will be consumed upon being used for one refine. Incidentally, this is why the Dragon Orb Ocean (+10) is such a sought-after item.

Tienkang Stones: These items greatly increase the chance of a successful refine, though they are not as powerful as Dragon Orbs. They must be placed in the "Special Materials" box to be used.

Tisha Stones: When placed into the "Special Materials" box, this item will guarantee that an unsuccessful refine will only reduce your item's current refinement level by 1 instead of the usual penalty.

Cheinkun Stones: Though these items are usually more useful in the Nirvana Recasting process, they can also be used in the "Special Materials" box while refining. They have the same effect on refinement as the Tisha Stone.

Rumors

The Duke Blacke NPC in Archosaur occasionally gives players advice on refining.

Money Making

1) Making money
2) Saving the money you've made

Should be reasonable enough. Alright, on to making money.
I'll list several effective ways to do this.

A) Grind.

Fairly obvious. When grinding, you get lots of money and item drops. Pick them ALL up, unless there's some insane swarm of monsters on top of it and you can't handle them. Do NOT ignore the money drops, even though there seems to be so little money. It builds up. A player lvling from 1-20 without picking up any money missed out on, on average, about 50-60K. And those are the easy no-grind lvls.
Also, sell any drops you may get to the NPC. This includes Dragon Quest drops, unless you're actually able to sell them to other players. I wouldn't count on that. From my own experiences, it's best to sell every single DQ drop to the NPC, unless you're really desperate to upgrade your bank.
Items you should keep :
-Things you may need, such as potions
-Good equipment (good equipment is any BLUE two-star item or better. Explanation below.)
-Materials if you need them
Just for comparison, at lvl 45, my Venomancer made about 100K while grinding 30%.

B) Help people

Sounds odd, doesn't it. "But Amiris, I don't want to get paid for helping people." That's right, you don't. Helping people just because they'll pay you isn't exactly nice. However, it does work the other way around. People may pay you just because you helped them. Like a Ch'in squad needing a Cleric, those aren't exactly rare, and they'll often end up paying the Cleric for their help. Other such occasions are helping people with a dungeon (without wine. You don't get paid for a wined run.), or crafting items for others (provided they give you the materials).

C) Sell the good items

To players, that is. If you got a nice equipment drop from a monster, your best option would be to sell it to a player, because they're usually worth a lot more than the NPC will pay you. Good equipment is usually a blue-named two-star item with decent stats (By which I mean a magic weapon with accuracy does NOT have decent stats). Now, there's three types of people:
-People who sell their items through chat. This is usually not a great option. Trade chat in West Archo can get you a buyer sometimes, but it's usually not very effective.
-People who sell their items through a 'cat shop'. This is a good option for the medium-priced items.
-People who sell their items through the auction. This is a great option for the medium to high-priced items. You can set a minimum bid (and a buyout price), then just go grind. After 24 hours, the item will get sold to the highest bidder (earlier if someone payed the buyout price). Downside is that you have to pay to use the auction. Costs are negligible though, just make sure you'll get more money out of it than you put in.

D) Farm
"What, I'm not a farmer!" No, but you should farm materials. Anytime you see a material, grab it. They sell high and they're quite common, especially at the higher lvls, when you're the only one around to grab it. It's usually best to decide what materials you'll grab though, as bank space is limited. If you have to decide, pick either herbs or the rest.

E) FB's are great exp

But they're horrible for money. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT lvl doing just call to duties for the reward. There is NO money reward, and you won't get a lot of drops in dungeons. You may get lucky and get a mold, but don't count on it. Do an fb every once in a while, don't constantly stand in towns asking for call to duties.
How does this make money? Because it relates to grinding. No fb's = more grinding = more money.

There, that's basic money making. Now, how to save the money you've made.

A) Walk, fly, run, swim

"Uhh, I do that already." Yes, but not enough. Way too many people teleport around places. Put it this way : If you're paying to teleport around Archosaur, or paying the -I think- 5K to go from Sumor Camp to Swiftwind Tribe, you're wasting your money. You may think it's not a lot, but it really builds up. Teleporting is the number 1 mistake people make regarding their money. I generally only teleport between the following places :
-The three main cities : They're relatively far from each other, and I'll admit it's quite dull to fly between them as much as you should. Therefore, I teleport between these.
-City of the Lost -> Wellspring Village : My gateway to Archosaur. It costs 200 coins, and flying from there to Archosaur takes about 2 minutes. Saves you 2.8K.
-The towns from lvl 1-20 : Eh, it's only 200 coins, you can make that back from a single monster. You have to walk too much at the lower lvls otherwise.
Also, if you have TW teleports in your faction, use them wisely, because they're awesome.

Edit: The FREE teleport to Archosaur. Starting at lvl 40, if you want to get to Archosaur, go to a main town (the lvl 1 and 2 territory towns) and go to the Adventure Assistant and Khatru Pup. Have either teleport you into the Cube of Fate, then talk to the Exit manager in there to warp to Archosaur. Free teleport, use it.

B) Don't buy NPC items

NPC items are NOT worth the price you pay for them, though I suppose shards are an exception to that rule. If you need items, buy them from players or the auction. This especially goes for equipment. Usually, blue two-stars in the auction are cheaper than white 1-star NPC items.

C) Don't buy stuff cause it's pretty

Too often do I see this: people buying three-stars with horrible stats just because they glow. Or imbuing elemental shards into your equipment, just for the looks. That's a LOT of money down the drain. And a blue weapon isn't really exceptional either - don't expect to be seen as a god just cause you have one.

D) Boutique Clothes don't do anything

So don't get them unless you really, really want them. And even then, make sure you can really spare the money. Boutique Clothes are only there to look nice. I suppose this falls under C a bit...

E) Only get the good skills

Don't waste your money just to try a skill out. Read the description, look it up, then decide whether or not you want it. For example, many wizards want to get Hailstorm, it's an AoE and all. However, the skill is totally rubbish. Money (and SP) wasted.

Warsong

WARSONG CITY GUIDE (BRIEF VERSION)
If you are level 80 or higher, you can fight in the new dungeon, Warsong City.
To get started, speak to the Watcher of Earth in any major city and accept the quest "Visit the Sanctuary." This quest will lead you to Dancing Melody in Sanctuary, who will send players to Warsong City.
Once inside, speak to Ginring. He is the guardian of Warsong City and will bring you up to speed on the situation within the city. The evil Incacerate, a great and terrible Wraithlord, was sealed in Warsong City years ago. Now his servants are attempting to free him, which would spell the doom of Perfect World. The only chance is to venture into Warsong City and destroy him before he can escape and gain his full power.
There are three stages to Warsong City. The first is "Raising Warsong." The second is "Protect the Incarnations." The third is "Heart of the City." Speak with Ginring and choose the "Start the Battle for Warsong" option to begin.
NOTE: In order to start the battle, you must be a squad leader and have 12 Mirage Celestones in your inventory.
The first stage is "Raising Warsong." In this stage, you must speak with Clearstream, the one who sealed the Incacerate long ago, and aid her and her disciple against the Wraithlord's minions while she prepares her spells.
NOTE: This stage is optional, but completing it will reward your squad with powerful Blessing items that will make the rest of the dungeon easier.
The second stage is "Protect the Incarnations." In this stage, you must split your squad between the five Elemental Pavilions of Warsong City. Each pavilion contains one of Clearstream's incarnations, who is attempting to remove the Incacerate's defenses. You must protect these incarnations from the constant Wraith attacks. If an incarnation falls, you will not lose, but the final stage will be harder because of it.
NOTE: Do not stray too far from the incarnations. Powerful and indestructible Flamefist Thralls wander the inner paths of the city and should be avoided at all cost.
Once the second stage ends, an NPC named Glowing Moon will appear. Speak with him to go to the center of Warsong City and begin the final stage.
NOTE: Do not linger in the Elemental Pavilions, or the Incacerate's minions will appear and destroy you.
The third and final stage is "Heart of the City." Now reunited, your squad must venture down each of the paths radiating out from the center, back to the Elemental Pavilions, and destroy all five of the Incacerate's generals: Pestilent Destroyer, Obscure Reaper, Snakefist Guardian, Cannonfist Orclord, and Shadowskull Lich.
NOTE: The more incarnations you protect in the second stage, the fewer monsters there will be between you and these bosses. Protect them well.
Should you manage to defeat all five generals, you will receive a reward based on your success in the second stage. However, in order to fight the Incacerate himself, you must protect all five of Clearstream's incarnations. Otherwise, you will be unable to face him.

Buy and Sell Gold

Cash Shop gold is brought by going to the Perfect World website and following their instructions on how to buy 'Zen'. Once you have bought Zen, you need to transfer the Zen to the server you play on through the Perfect World website. It will then be converted into Cash Shop Gold and appear when you press 'O' and show the cash shop. You normally have to log out then in again, if you bought the Zen while still logged into the game, for it to show in the shop.

This guide is to assist you in selling this Gold through the Auction House, Gold Trading area. This will then convert the Gold from your Cash Shop into the coinage used in the game. You can also reverse this and use in game coinage to purchase Gold to use in the Cash Shop.

Please be aware there is a small charge for transactions made through the cash shop in the auction house. You will be shown this in the cash shop area before any purchase/sale is made

How To Sell Gold:

Go the Auction House NPC in any Major city. When you talk to them click on the second link, Its called Gold Trading.

It will bring up the PW Gold Trading window. Now this window can be confusing. On the right hand side the top box shows you what Zen is for sale and how much the sellers want for it and the quantity they have. The bottom box on the right side shows you the buyers offers, how much they are willing to pay, and how many they want.

There should be a Buying and Selling Tab at the top. Click on the Selling Tab.

On the left side the top box is where you put in how much you are willing to sale each Gold for and how many you want to sell.

The bottom box on the left side is where you need to deposit the Gold from your Cash Shop to put up from sale. Just hit the deposit button. You have to deposit your Gold BEFORE you can sell it. It is also where you withdraw the money from after your Gold has sold.

So before you sale check out the 2 windows on the right hand side. And lets do an example: In the top box the cheapest price someone is selling it for already is 95,000. In the bottom box the most a buyer is buying it for is 85,000. You want the money right now pretty bad so you are willing to sell it for 90,000.

You go to the boxes on the left. Put in you are selling for 90k and the amount of Gold you want to sale. It will give you a total with Tax of how much it will cost you. Lets say you are selling 25 Gold and it says your tax is 1 Gold. You then go to the bottom box on the left hand side and deposit 26 Gold into your PW Gold trade account. After you deposit the 26 Gold, go back to the top box on the left and hit submit. It will ask you are sure you want to sale 26 Gold for 90k each. Click accept. (On the pw-my version this was "broke" and on the sale screen it would ask if you are sure you want to buy, I dunno if it has been fixed on this version. Buy if it asks you if you want to buy 26 Gold and your sure your on the selling tab hit confirm. Its just another bug)

You price will then go into the top box on the right hand side. and You will now see where it says your price as 90k and that you are selling 26 Gold as the cheapest seller. When buyers check this if they like your price or are buying in your price range, the system will automatically sell it for you.

So after you put your Gold up just check back often to see if you have sold any. You do not receive any mails or alerts when you have sold your Gold so you will have to just go back and keep checking.

Once the system has sold it for you, your money will show up in the bottom left hand box. Hit the withdrawal button and withdrawal the money. The money will then show up in your inventory when you hit "B" like normal and you can spend it.

8 cards need to be manufactured at the Land elder for each set

Each card costs 2 Mystical Tome Fragments to manufacture, so you would need (2 x 8 )16 Mystical Tome Fragments to make one full set.

Individual cards can be trade as normal, once you have made 8 cards into a set you CANNOT trade it! It becomes YOUR quest, so you need to be in the squad at the time and place to summon!

Signature cards CAN be traded and sold. This is the card the land Elder gives AFTER killing the monster.

You can then make two booklets, once the monster has been defeated you talk to the Land elder and get given a 'signature' card. Set 1-8 signature cards make Hammerfall Booklet I, card set 9-16 signature cards make Hammerfall Booklet II. You need both sets of booklets to find the final monster, Hammerfall, who appears on Pierced Heart Island.

Dye Matching and Colors
The Dyes listed here are the ones you get from the DYE
PIGMENT BOTTLES. The random colors you get on clothing
when you first buy them, or from using random dye pigments
are way too many. Plus this is a guide to players who wish
to plan out their outfit. Random dyes are too "Random" to
match since you get a random color and those colors are not
always available in bottle format. There are more colors for
clothing than just the ones you can buy with names on the
bottles. However to do that, its just click and hope. This
guide will help you get as close as you can to a random dye
color as possible with named dye bottles, but it will most
likely not be exact unless you use dye bottles on all the
clothing.

This guide was made from different versions of the
game. Some of the clothing in the pictures are not from the
international version, but from the Malaysian version. I have
adapted all the names now for the international version of
Perfect World.

Mystical Tome

Mystical tome guide
taken from http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com...;highlight=Mystical+Tome+Fragment

Here is all the information people needs to know about mystical tome. The tome list was generated by a crawler I made up. The crawler source is available at : www.megaupload.com B91TXVAS , it was made in PHP with Smarty for the template. The list is based on the website database of www.pwdatabase.com/pwi. If you have any other question or information that are useful to add, leave a message.

What is a mystical tome ?

A mystical tome is an item that you can wear that will give you additional statistic to your character (like bonus vitality, bonus exp, mana regeneration, damage reduction, etc.).

These tome will also keep your pet (this include mounts too) full, which means that they will never lose loyalty if you don't feed them. They will still lose loyalty if they died.

This item is permanent.

What material you need for each tome ?

For most of the tome here is the formula you need to apply to know of much mystical tome fragment and page you need :

Page : 4*3^(Tome level-1)
Fragment : 3^(Tome level)

LeveL 1 : 4 pages and 3 Fragments
LeveL 2 : 12 pages and 9 Fragments
LeveL 3 : 36 pages and 27 Fragments
LeveL 4 : 108 pages and 81 Fragments
LeveL 5 : 324 pages and 243 Fragments
LeveL 6 : 972 pages and 729 Fragments
LeveL 7 : 2916 pages and 2187 Fragments
LeveL 8 : 8748 pages and 6561 Fragments

Where we can find these material ?

Mystical Tome Page :
You can acquire page from the "Cash Shop" under the tabs Misc -> Tomes.

Mystical Tome Fragment :
For the fragment you get them in last fews waves of Rebirth Order. Depending of the level of the Rebirth quest your doing, your getting more or less fragment.

If you want to buy them from the Action House, they are in the section "Material" -> "Elite Instance" -> "Valley of Reciprocity".

Where do we make those ?

You can combine the page and the fragment at "Nature Forge: Tomes" in Thousand Stream (coord are : 117, 856)

Note: The forge doesn't exactly work like the other one. You must drag and drop your material on the icon that correspond to each material. It doesn't automatically detect it from your inventory.

Is there any level requirement to wear or make the tome ?

No

Frostcoverd Ground

The numbers on the map refer to the explanation below.

1. You need a squad and be squad leader to open. Talk to the NPC Lin Yan in beginning of the instance to open the first gate. You best have a full squad with at least 1 cleric, a tank (barb or strong BM)and good DDs. If you have a good strong squad, the run takes about 2.5 hours. Many bosses can AoE, some have problems there. Level 85+ or, if squishy build, 90+ is advised.
Level 85+: Take the quest at the beginning of the instance from Lin Yan, you can get it every time you enter. You need to finish this quest to get the quest item 'Faithfulness'.
You have to kill the Glacial Shades to open a gate, if you go through all opened doors you will do all in the right order. Bosses open doors too, so there is no skipping bosses in here.

2. Thunderclaw: This boss calls up traps. You have to run around a lot. Herc can tank, but be sure to call him back every time a trap forms around him. Don't stay in the traps, they 1-hit you. Move away once one forms around you.

3. First talk to Holan, he will give you a quest. Kill as many Elementos as you can. You have 30 seconds to kill them, be sure to focus fire one at a time. After 30 seconds the mobs disappear. If all are gone the boss Diabolic Shocktrooper wakes. He random seals like the genie skill Occult Ice and sleeps. When you have the seal bubble around you, you get some bad damage. Clerics need to purify. After you kill him two Frost Bishops spawn, with foxes around them. 1 person grab aggro, cleric team heals, rest of the team focus on getting the Frost Bishops killed asap. The Frost Bishops AoE interrupt and damage.

4. Level 85+: In a small room the NPC Shiner Nin appears, all talk to her, kill Cyclotra Styren and Glacix Dragoon that spawn and report. The dragon AoE stuns. It respawns a while after it's killed. Cyclotra Styren does AoE. This quest will give you the quest item 'Faithfulness'.

5. Dreadindra: He calls up Frost Bishops, random aggros and does debuff then. Barb/herc tank boss try to keep him on you, rest kill Frost Bishops as soon they appear and DD on boss in between. Cleric best team heal. Don't worry to much about the debuff, the bishops are worse.

6. Asoteric Runewolf: This boss shouts, keep a close eye on that. When he says SLASH you better be far away, because he does a AoE that 1-hits all. After the slash run back to continue killing. He slows with his attack BTW.

7. Messenger of Fear: Does AoE sleep and damage. Cleric team heal.
Level 85+: After you killed this boss the NPC Yi Lam appears. Talk to him and he will teleport you near next boss. If you are below level 85 you need to walk.

8. Oceania Master: Stands in a big room filled with mobs. Kill all mobs before hitting the boss. Let the barb or herc tank the boss. Do not use AoE. Don't hit the minion that spawns next to the boss, telling you to try hit him. Ignore this minion, don't AoE it too... If you hit the minion he does a severe AoE killing most people in your squad. Kill all hands asap, before they clap cause they kill almost everyone if they clap. Best put archer and/or BM on killing hands.
Level 85+: After you kill this boss the NPC Celestial Sister appears, talk to her. Hit as many of the Frozen Heads you can, they give EXP, and afterwards the NPC gives you a second quest item 'Sincerity'.

9. Decaying Fragrance: This one does the axe debuff like one of the last bosses in FB 69. Barb has to tank it (or BM). AoE stuns.

10. Asotheric Runephoenix: Shoot him, run to lower him so all can hit him. He AoE seals and does damage, drains life. Just DD, cleric team heals. After the phoenix dies, you need to destroy the remains Blazing Phoenix Soul too.

11. Holeen: Lure the Holeen Body. After he s dead Holeen Champion of Fientazzar spawns. The big one random aggros, seals, AoEs. Team heal.
Level 85+: Talk to the NPC Frost Elder. For the Sincerity and Faithfulness he'll give you a Chest of Faith containing a random gift: Perfect Stones, Chest of Coins, Flawless Shards, Scarlet Fruit, (Mirage Celestone, Auspicious Ring: Order, Unicorn Spirit Ring: Order)

FriendShip Quest

So what's this quest?
Randomly from a mob, you'll find a "Friendship Crystal". All you have to do is get some friends, talk to the elder, talk to another npc, get some exp and sp, rinse and repeat. I'll elaborate more on steps.

What are the requirements?
You and all friends must be level 30+, otherwise it will not work. So get leveling!

Step 1: Get a Friendship Crystal from a mob. Yay! Alternatively, you can be a friend to someone with a crystal. (Keep reading, it'll all make sense, hopefully)

Step 2: Get two friends WHO HAVE NOT LEAD A FRIENDSHIP QUEST ALREADY TODAY and go to the elder. Make sure you're the party leader and your two friends are standing next to the elder.

Step 3: Go to "Quest Related" for the elder and select "Have they been here before?" There will be a 2nd option saying "Trade in Memory Orb" which you should not select. MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT OPTION!!! Selecting the wrong one will result in an immediate 5k exp/1k sp and ending the chain. The elder should take your crystal (or Memory Orb) and you should receive a quest.

Step 4: The quest says to talk to the elder, so do it. Take the "True Friends" quest. The elder shoulud tell you to search for the "Girl in White".

Step 5: Fly to the southwest tower in the center of Arch (538, 643). Talk to the lady. She should say something along the lines of "Who are you! I don't need friends! Go away!" or something like that. You should receive a Flawed Pendant of Friendship. Your two friends should each receive a Memory Orb.

Step 6: Here's where it gets confusing. What you need to do now, is have your two friends, which I shall call B and C, get two new friends each: D and E, and F and G. B and C should each be the leader of two separate parties. They should repeat the exact steps of 3-5.

Step 7: After friends B and C complete their trips with their two friends, they should receive a Flawed Pendant of Friendship AND a Stone of Friendship each. They should BOTH trade the Stone of Friendship to you. You should now have 2 Stones of Friendship and a Flawed Pendant of Friendship. (Note, Friends D, E, F and G can all repeat steps 2-5 as this is a chain quest that can go on forever)

Step 8: Fly back to the elder. He should have a quest for you to repair the necklace using the 2 stones. Do the quest, you should receive a Necklace of Friendship.

Step 9: Fly back to the "Girl in White" and talk to her. Give her the necklace and your done!

Total Rewards
It should be as follow after completing everything:
20k exp
4k sp
5 rep
Tablet of Friendship
*Note: These are the rewards after you turn in the full pendant to the elder. This means, friends B and C can achieve these awards if they complete the whole chain, too.*

Prizes
All equipments are level 90 requirements and require 50 Tablet of Friendships
